What People Like You Are Saying

"Wilson and Terry Auction Company did a fantastic job with the auction they did for my Dad's estate! We had 3 generations of old farm equipment and really were amazed at the money it brought. We had no idea they would do so well. We had old tractors and farm equipment that we thought were scrap metal. They completely organized and cleaned up the entire area! You can imagine how thrilled we were. We thought it would take us months to go through all of it and clean the old barns out. They even disposed of the trash and graded the area to make it look good. They went above and beyond all expectations!!! Thank you. You are a great team!!!"

"Wilson and Terry is the best and most honest auction! We have used them to buy and sell all our personal country antiques. Their team members pick up and take it to sale. There is never any worry with this company! Always on time and great to work with!

"I woke up for the last time in my bedroom of 25 years and went to bed that night in my future home.  My clothes were carefully hanging in the closet with my shoes placed in an orderly manner under them. Sweaters not folded on hangers were placed on shelves.  Dining room furniture was on the Turkish rug in front of the buffet where it always was. The room divider’s three shelves held a familiar assortment of small things from all over the world.  It and a Persian silk rug filled the space in between the dining and living room areas.
The living room was defined by a large gold Chinese rug.  A nest of rosewood carved tables was on one side of the sofa and a Chinese painted chest on the other side. Each side had a unique lamp. The task was to plug the lamps into an outlet under the room divider, easy to do with such talent available.  Nearby was a whatnot stand of various heights and lengths used to display a collection of bric-a-brac and curious of interest and value in themselves.  I marveled at the ease with which these items were unpacked and put in place. Books actually filled the shelves that lined one wall of the den along with African and Latin American wood carvings, Turkish cooper plates, porcelain figures, etc.  A place was found suitable for the computer.
Packing at the former residence, transporting household effects to a new location, unpacking and setting up a new house hold went well, particularly considering the many small items involved.   The team was well selected for their part in the process and responded well to its captain, Blake.   Their day was not over until they packed up the effects at the former residence to be stored until auctioned  and  removed all the debris in the garage.  The Real Estate agent visited the former residence and reported that he had never found a house left in such good condition. I give Blake credit for this observation. (The Real Estate agent appeared at my new residence with a tray of every day flatware and kitchen utensils found in two kitchen draws.) I expect this to be my last residential move of many.  I will recall it with good memories.
Thanks Blake!"

"My wife and I attended several Asheville area auctions this past week including your auction on Jan 3rd. When we were driving home we commented to each other that you really have a very professional and well done auction. It was very smooth and quick- the way they should all be. We have an online business that we stock from auctions like yours from Vermont to South Carolina and have attended hundreds. We specifically like the ease of registration, the logical presentation of quality items for bid, the comfortable surroundings, approachable staff and perhaps most importantly, the very predictable cadence of the auctioneer! Drives us crazy when we have the high bid and a newer auctioneer spends what seems like an eternity before reluctantly granting us the win. We just thought you might like some positive feedback on your very well done auctions."

"Recently, I went through the arduous process of locating a reliable auction house to liquidate an extensive lifetime collection of antiquities.  Wilson and Terry was the one company recommended that responded in a very timely fashion, who also efficiently scheduled an on-site viewing to adequately assess their ability to meet our needs.  Blake Terry and his team were professional, reliable, treated our property and family with the utmost respect and completely delivered on every promise. I have nothing but praise and have already referred others to Wilson and Terry Auction Company – they are a true gem."
